With its beginnings going back to the year 1338, the property was acquired and valued by Ana Isabel Rebelo and Paulo Barradas Rebelo, in 2006. The couple, linked to the pharmaceutical industry, saw in Torre de Palma the possibility of having a tourist project based on the production of wine and horse breeding, thus preserving the historical and cultural legacy existing in the area, in addition, the main motto was the creation of a new portuguese brand of high quality regional products.

In 2014, it was born with an author project signed by architect João Mendes Ribeiro, decoration by Rosarinho Gabriel and sculptor Nuno Vaza. The Hotel has 19 rooms and suites, divided into four categories: 1 master suite, 3 double rooms, 7 superior double rooms and 8 junior suites. By the hands of the decorator Rosarinho, each room represents authenticity and therefore each one has a specific theme linked to the local history. The fact that each room has been designed individually and uniquely makes guests want to come back to Torre de Palma. There are other services provided by the hotel such as: the spa – indoor and outdoor pool, jacuzzi and massages; the “Cortejo de Baco” bar and lounge, the Palma restaurant run by Chef Miguel Laffan, a cinema room, an organic vegetable garden, an orchard, a vineyard, an olive grove, a chapel for celebrations, an oven room, a private kitchen and a dining room of the “Mãe” house receptive to private events. The equestrian center is also one of the TP facilities, which offers services such as: vaulting lessons, carriage rides, saddle lessons, horseback riding and workshops with children. The Winery is one of the ex-libris of TP, the estate has seven hectares of vineyards, in which seven varieties, each variety corresponds to one hectare, are part of the red varieties: Alicante Bouschet, Aragonez, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Miúda; and the white varieties: Arinto, Antão Vaz and Alvarinho. The responsible and oenologist Duarte de Deus, guarantees that the production of wine is of quality and not quantity, the authenticity of the wines of Torre de Palma goes through the manual process, from the harvesting of the grape done by hand, to the transport to the cellar also done manually treated and aged in French oak barrels, cement deposits and barrels sur lies.
